Frank West (Forrest), Human

For our Zombie project, I made sure to be a human for many reasons. I have watched
a lot of zombie movies and played some zombie video games, so I know a thing or
two about the topic. For this project, my character is me, but with a couple
different changes. First, my job is being a computer programmer for Bill Gates
at Microsoft (this ties in with the plot for my story). My job brings me to Alaska, where I am tasked with new projects that hit the board at Microsoft and weather testing the new devices that are made. Along with my job comes the task of testing signal degradation from snow storms and harsh weather conditions.

With any Zombie apocalypse, there are precautions one must make. One factor that plays a big part in your survival is your location. After much thought I have
come to the conclusion that staying in Alaska would be the best choice. Alaska is severed from the rest of the United States and has a much smaller population than other states, which makes it a prime place to defend. You would only have to worry about the Zombies coming over from Canada, but really…..it’s Canada, come on. A Zombie would most likely not make the trek across the border from Canada to Alaska because they would starve from lack of brains. The climate in Alaska is also a plus toward surviving the zombie apocalypse because the zombies would freeze to death, unless it’s the rage virus which would mean they are overheating. For foods during the apocalypse, you need nonperishable foods.
Your food needs to last a long time and be able to be spread equally amongst
the survivors.
In my story, Steve Jobs had a life long plan to infect the whole world with the Ipod. Almost everybody uses an iphone. Turns out before Steve died, he sent out a wireless signal to every Apple device in the world, infecting millions. People using Android and WP7 (Windows Phone 7) devices were not affected, leving them as the last known human survivors. The leader of the humans (Bill Gates), convoluted a plan on how to regain human control in the world. Microsoft and Android devices give off a frequency that keeps the user immune to the Apple Virus, making users having to constantly use their devices to keep their immunity.
