Intro: My name is Kristin and i'm going to attempt to make a virus that when injected into the body, will make humans immune to all diseases. I believe we have the greatest immune system in the world, it just needs a little trigger to become even greater. I'm a pathology graduate from the Stanford University School of Medicine. I now work in a lab in Nevada, I can't be too specific. I've been working for years on creating what my co-workers call, the "Final Vaccine." They never believed that I could create such a cure, but I did, and they still don't believe me. I took it upon myself to test the drug out in secrecy. I'm going to inject the drug into my own body weekly to record it's effects. This is my journal. This is my story.
Day 1:
I've injected 0.5 ml of the drug into my right arm. I'm also going to inject a small dose of the common cold, to see if the drug can surpass it. Hopefully I will see some effects this following week.
Day 3:
The area where I injected the virus into is a little swollen. Perfectly normal, my body is just getting use to the drug. The common cold had no effect on my body. I can't tell if it was my immune system that naturally beat the virus, or the aid of the drug i've created. I will inject myself with different types of viruses in the future in the hopes that I won't catch any of them.
Day 7:
The swelling has not gone down, but I will continue with my dosage. I'm going to inject the same amount of the "Final Vaccine" into my system. I'm also going to inject traces of the flu and the common cold.
Day 9:
It's a success! I have been perfectly healthy ever since I started the drug. Surprisingly i've been feeling less pain and my brain functioning has increased greatly. I have a much better memory.
Day 12:
Something has gone terribly wrong. I've lost all feeling in my right arm. It's still functioning, but it's almost as if i'm paralyzed. Hopefully the feeling will go away by tomorrow.
Day 14:
The numbness has now spread to my lower limbs. I have a loss of appetite, and my sense of smell has become stronger. I am not going to take the drug today in the hopes of all of this going away. I was wrong, the human body shouldn't be tampered with.
Day 20:
I've lost all feeling in my body. It seems as though i've become almost predator like. I haven't eaten in days. I crave human, even though I shouldn't. I would never attack a human though, as long as i'm in the right state of mind. I'm going to head back to the lab today to discuss what I've done. Hopefully I can still be saved...
