Background:
Léna graduated top of her class at the University of Chicago and
was soon recruited by the CIA. There she would examine the psychological as
well as chemical effects of biological warfare. For two years, Léna helped
protect thecountry from millions of the potential biological attacks. When the
H1N1 virus broke out, the government knew it was much more serious than what
the media told the rest of the public. They tried tracing its origins-the Middle
East, Russia, China- however, nothing came up. The virus was spreading fast.
About 6 months ago Léna received a call from the director of the CIA, saying
that a possible cure had been found- but incase anything happened, the
country’s top FBI and CIA agents would be sent down there- some for protection
and some, like her, for observation.
She was sent to Area 51 to overlook the research of the proposed
cure for the H1N1 virus. She was to observe the psychological effects of the
test subjects (how they reacted to the drugs, how they progressed through
re-trials, etc.). But what happened next, she wasn’t expecting…
The effects of the now proposed Z-Virus (H1N1) mixed with herType
O blood typed slowed the effects of the virus. Léna was a zombie. She looked like
a zombie- to an extent. She sat back and watched the mass panic that human
society had become. She saw the greed and hunger in society and the evil of
people come in a world suddenly grown with panic. Léna was a zombie but still
human at the same time. She was in zombie/human purgatory. Although her blood
helps ward off the virus, it won’t be for long. She has a couple years- maybe a
decade. But that is it…but until then, she will work to find a cure- or to find
something to stop society from falling apart. It doesn’t matter who she has to
go through- whether you’re human or zombie- don’t get in her way.

P.S.- She loves mac and cheese. Just sayin'
LCW-R's Possible Research Topics
As a research psychologist, I plan to do research the horrible things that have taken place in society since the outbreak of the Z-Virus (thanks Melissa Vasphin!).
1.) How to outbreak of the Z-Virus has affected humanity and social order.
2.) What a zombie really is. Why are they so seemingly indestructable?
3.) Who will ultimately win and why?
4.) Is this an evolvment of the human species (as Melissa Vasphin argues) or the end of it?
5.) Why are zombies prodominately male or seemingly so)?
6.) When and where is the origin of the zombie? Im ancient third world mythology? If so, why has it gained so much prominence in the past few decades?
7.) Why do zombies typically live in warm weather?
8.) Examine the psychology of zombies and vampires and their prominence in society.
9.) The impact zombie movies such as Dawn of the Dead and Resident Evil have had on society's preceptions of zombies.
10.) Why are zombies so celebrated but so feared?
